United Response have a new service supporting a young Gentleman in the South Shields area (NE34) and are looking to build a team to support him moving in, turning his house into his home and becoming a valued member of his community.

Full Time And Part time hours available (12 hour shifts)

£11.75 per hour plus (enhanced rates at bank holidays)

20 days paid annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays) increases after 3 and 5 years of service

Previous experience in a Support Worker type role is not essential, however an awareness of Autism, learning disabilities and Positive Behaviour Support is.

What is most important is that you are an empathetic, resilient and robust individual with a genuine passion for supporting others. Having the ability to think on your feet is an important skill for this role as it means that you will be able to adapt to the needs of the young manyou are supporting.

Most of our roles involve elements of weekend and evening work as well as sleep in shifts (for which you will be paid) which means flexibility is required.

Full driving licence would be beneficial.
