Realise, our trusted apprenticeship provider, offers a wide range of qualifications to support your career advancement. As a United Response employee, you can work towards the following level 2, 3, 4 or 5 qualifications:

  • Customer Service
  • Human Resources (HR)
  • Administration
  • Business

I left a six-year-long career as a teacher to pursue my passion for content creation and social media marketing. I have now settled into my new role and I’m loving every minute of it.

Induction

We want every staff member to feel welcome and ready for success from the start.

Our induction process includes half a day of Zoom training where you can get to know us better. Here you’ll have a brief introduction to the team and learn about who we are, our values and our ethos. You’ll also gain a Care Certificate; this will be exempt for those who already have one.

Training

Our training process is designed to help you excel in your role, to do this we ensure that it includes:

  • Blended learning: a mix of online and in-person training.
  • Welcome to United Response Day: an immersive introduction to United Response.
  • Specialised training: including topics like epilepsy awareness, first aid, approaches to behaviour, and safeguarding.
  • Mandatory training: ensuring all staff are equipped with essential skills.

Your development doesn’t stop after the initial training! We provide ongoing support to meet the unique needs of people we support. This includes regular one-on-one sessions with managers to discuss your personal development, identify opportunities, and upskill as needed.

I get to see my friend every day.
