Making it happen – Your Role

You will be joining a team which supports people over several services within the North Somerset area who have a vary of disabilities, including autism. Our aim is to give the people you will be supporting as much control over their own lives as possible.

This is a responsible role which is really varied, and extremely rewarding. The job is all about giving people encouragement, guidance and support so they can live as independently as possible and have the freedom to make their own choices.

On a daily basis, you may be involved in supporting people with the following activities:

  • Providing active support
  • Assisting with jobs around the house
  • Encouraging the people we support to be as independent as possible
  • Helping with personal finances
  • Accompanying the people we support on trips and activities
  • Personal care

About you

You must have a UK licence and access to a vehicle.
