Purpose of the Role
The MEL Contractor will provide hands-on technical support to refine and deliver the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) framework for the Democracy Champions programme, ensuring high-quality data collection, robust impact evaluation and actionable insights within a short timeframe.
Democracy Champions is a community-led, co-designed train-the-trainer programme and a key part of the My Vote My Voice (MVMV) campaign. MVMV brings together over 240 organisations to support people with learning disabilities and autistic people to participate actively in democratic processes.

- Experience working with people with learning disabilities and/or autistic people, ideally in social care, health or community settings.
- Skills in designing accessible research methods, including Easy Read surveys, interviews and participatory evaluation.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, accessible recommendations.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines and collaborate with colleagues, partners, funders and people with lived experience.
