Role: Activity Support Worker

Pay: £11.75 per hour

Location: Stockport (SK2)

Hours: 40 hours per month, hours will vary each week (weekend work involved)

At our service in Stockport we are looking for an energetic, get up and go type of person to support a 35 year old guy to enjoy all the things he loves to do!

There are many things that this gent loves to do, one which is going swimming! Another bonus would be if you are a watch enthusiast. If you are, then this is the role for you! The gent here loves his watches, so if you have a knowledge of watch makes/types then we’re sure you’ll get along! However, this is not essential and the guy we support is very easy to get on with.

There is so much more that the gent enjoys and he would love to share his amazing life with your support. Be prepared to leave your shift feeling fulfilled and safe in the knowledge you are doing something meaningful in your community. You will be welcomed by a friendly team and a warm company culture that values its workers.

About you

The ideal person for this role needs to be someone who is happy to get stuck into any activity possible…someone who can think outside of the box, someone who is creative and someone who up for having fun!

This is a supporting role where experience is not essential. However, we need to ensure you have the right values and determination to positively impact the lives of the people we support, so we just ask that you come with the passion and drive to support individuals to achieve everything they want in their life.

We also ask that you’re ok with lone working as the support requirements needed are for 1 to 1 support in the community (shadow shifts will be completed if successful before 1 to 1 support starts) All training is provided and our team will be here to support you to become an amazing Support Worker. Professional development is also offered and there are lots of opportunities to progress in the organisation.

Full UK driving licence is preferable but, not essential.

In return for your passion and commitment, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including:
